St. Pius V invites people to join small faith sharing groups in the parish. These groups or small communities meet weekly to reflect on the scripture and apply it to their lives. They join together to support one another spiritually and materially, address common concerns on their blocks, and celebrate life events. By participating in these communities, parishioners not only grow in their own faith, but form church on their blocks and extend the evangelization of the church into the far corners of our neighborhood.

Participation in small groups is important because all Christians are called to share their faith and serve others. Since it is difficult to relate to so many people who attend Sunday Mass, St. Pius V invites members to join others in small groups for face-to-face sharing. The faith of these small communities helps strengthen the sense of community throughout the parish.
